The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh established in 1505 is one of the oldest, and largest surgical colleges with over 35,000 global members. Our headquarters are based in the heart of the historic city of Edinburgh with satellite offices in Birmingham and Malaysia, with the majority of our surgical and dental members based in England.
We set and uphold global standards in surgery driving excellence in patient care, providing life long learning and support for our members and fellows. Patient Safety remains at the forefront of everything we do. We also provide resource and a suite of innovative courses in Patient Safety for surgeons, dentists, and healthcare workforce involved in the surgical pathway supporting patients.
